Studio Portraits
For the version of them you never want to forget.
You noticed it again this morning. The way your daughter's face has changed since the last time you really looked at a photo of her. The way your son is suddenly all limbs and opinions and not quite the little kid he was last year. You've been meaning to book a session. You keep putting it off.
What if he won't cooperate? What if she melts down the second we walk in? What if I spend all this money and the photos look stiff and nothing like my actual kid?
I hear that from almost every mom who walks through my door... usually right before she's looking at the back of my camera saying "wait, that's really her."
This is not a department store portrait session. There's no assembly line, no countdown clock, no one barking "say cheese" from behind a camera. My studio is intentionally small and calm — designed for real kids with real personalities, not perfectly posed strangers. I've spent years figuring out how to get genuine expressions out of children who have absolutely no interest in cooperating, and honestly? That's my favorite part.
And here's the thing nobody tells you — a studio session is also one of the rare chances you actually get to be in the photos. Not behind your phone. Not cropped out of someone else's shot. In the frame, with your kid, at this exact age... before they change again.
You don't need to have it all figured out before you book. I'll help with the wardrobe, the prep, all of it.

Honestly... most kids who "never sit still" are my favorite clients. I don't need them to perform, I need them to just be themselves, and I know exactly how to work with that. Give me five minutes with your kid and I'll find their moment. It happens every single time.

Simple, comfortable, and something they actually like wearing. Beyond that, I'll help you figure it out before you even get here. Once you book, I'll send you guidance on colors, coordination, and what to avoid — so you're not stressing about outfits the night before.

45 to 60 minutes. Long enough to get everything we need, short enough that nobody melts down. My studio is calm and unhurried, we work at your child's pace, not the clock's.

Please do! A studio session is one of the rare chances you actually get to be in the frame with your kid... and those are always the images moms are most grateful for later. We'll make sure we get some just of your child and some with you in them too.

The Birthday Club is a annual portrait tradition… one short session every year during your child's birthday month, for two years, included with The Complete. It's one of my favorite things I offer... and once families start, they never want to stop. You can read all about it at fotoplicity.com/birthday-club.

They're only this age once.
You don't need a special occasion. You don't need everyone to be perfectly coordinated. You just need to stop putting it off... because a year from now you'll wish you had these photos of them exactly as they are right now.
