The Milestone Portrait is a focused, unhurried studio session designed entirely around your child — from three months old through their 18th birthday. No big family coordination. No complicated logistics. Just them, beautifully lit, in a calm and comfortable space where the only goal is capturing exactly who they are right now.
Every stage is fleeting. Every stage deserves to be remembered.
- 3-month portraits — the rolls, the sleepy smiles, the sheer newness of them
- 6-month portraits — sitting up, taking it all in, starting to have opinions
- 9-month portraits — the personality is fully here, and it is a lot
- First birthday portraits — one whole year. It went so fast.
- Upsherin portraits — capture those curls before the first cut
- First Communion, Confirmation, Bar & Bat Mitzvah, baptism — the celebrations that mark who they're becoming
- Annual birthday portraits, ages 1–18 — because every single year looks different
The Milestone Portrait isn't about busy backdrops or elaborate themes. It's about your child... their expression, their personality, the way they exist in this exact moment in time.

Milestone portraits are designed for children from 3 months through age 18. Whether you're capturing a baby's first few months, a first birthday, or an annual birthday portrait for your school-age child, this session was built for all of it.

The Milestone Portrait is perfect for any moment worth remembering — First Communion, Confirmation, Bar and Bat Mitzvah, Upsherin, baptism, and other life celebrations are all wonderful reasons to book a session. And for Upsherin in particular, there's something especially meaningful about capturing your child before that first haircut... those curls, that sweetness, exactly as they are in that moment. If it's a milestone in your child's life, it belongs in front of my camera.

Simple, comfortable clothing photographs best — solids, soft textures, and classic colors tend to hold up beautifully over time. Avoid busy prints or logos. If you're not sure, reach out before your session and I'm happy to help you think it through.

Milestone Portrait sessions are 30 minutes. That's enough time to capture several beautiful images without overwhelming younger children or babies. The session is relaxed and unhurried, we work at your child's pace, not the clock's.

Absolutely... just add a parent or sibling for +$50 each. The session is designed around your child, but a few frames with you in them are always a good idea.

Your session includes 5 fully retouched digital images of your choice from a proofing gallery of 12–15 curated images. If you want more, you can add individual images for $75 each or upgrade to the full gallery for $225.

Your online proofing gallery is typically ready within 7–10 business days of your session.

Your booking fee reserves your session date and is non-refundable but fully transferable. If you need to reschedule, it moves with you to your new date as long as we re-book within 60 days. Life happens... just reach out and we'll figure it out together.
