Frequently Asked Questions

When can I book my Portrait Club outdoor session? Whenever you like! When you enroll you will be asked when during the year you would like to have your session but you will not be held to that time frame - it is for planning purposes only.

How far in advance do I need to schedule my family's session? The earlier the better, but I recommend 3-4 weeks for Spring/Summer and 6-8 Weeks for Fall outdoor sessions. Longer if you need a weekend.

How long after joining do I need to wait to schedule my session?  You can schedule your session right after your very first membership subscription payment.

What happens if I miss a payment? Membership requires you to sign up for auto-billing. Your subscription payment will be automatically billed to your credit card on the 28th of every month.

Can my friend or extended family use my membership?  Memberships are for immediate family and grandparents only. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc. are welcome to book an individual session or purchase their own membership!

I'm not sure where to do my session, do you have any suggestions? I am more than happy to help you select the right location(s) for your session. We have worked all over the area and have some great recommendations. Don’t worry, we’ll find one that suits you just right.

How long until we get to see our photos? A sneak peek image is typically posted to Instagram/Facebook within 24 hours. You will receive your online proofing gallery one to two weeks after your session.

Can we order prints through you? I sure hope so! I offer plenty of ways for you to enjoy your images. From books to canvas, memory boxes to announcement cards, I've got you covered! In addition to traditional prints, we offer prints on metal for that extra wow factor, and so much more.

How do I end my subscription?  When you enroll, you are committing to a full 12 months of membership. After that 12 months (in July) your subscription will automatically end (along with the payments) and you will be asked if you would like to re-enroll for the following year. If you choose not to re-enroll you will have until the end of August to make any final purchases and or downloads from your active galleries as they will be deactivated on September 1st. Your birthday club membership will be active for two years from the date of your last session however it will revert to a paid membership (you will be charged for session fees and digitals/prints/products).
