Meet Jennifer – A NJ Child Photographer

Hey!  Thanks for stopping by.

I’m Jennifer, a Central NJ children’s portrait photographer artist who strives to create imagery that speaks to your soul.

Jennifer Evans of Fotoplicity

I AM…

…not a very good housekeeper

…an animal lover

…a Mom of two girls who lovingly drive me insane almost every single day

…the Wife of a sweet self-proclaimed work-a-holic who supports everything I do and keeps me balanced

…the woman who left her big city, posh career to stay at home with her kids

…a handy DIYer (thanks to my Dad)

…a non-GMO/anti Monsanto fanatic

…the woman who doesn’t wear makeup to the gym and prefers working out in the free weight room

…much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of the lens but still get in the picture because it’s important for my family

I BELIEVE

…that beauty can be found anywhere

…there is a undeniable difference between a snapshot and a portrait

…in excellent customer service

…photos are meant to be printed

…it’s completely acceptable to roll around in the dirt and make a fool of myself in order to get “the shot”

…connection is everything when it comes to portrait photography

…life is short and every single day has something amazing to offer if you’re open to listening

FUN FACT

My favorite sessions are my Enchanted Sessions, but I am definitely not a “girly-girl” and never was.  I prefer jeans and a comfy sweater over a skirt and heels any day.
I’m love with the fairytale experience that the couture wardrobe creates rather than the dress itself.

Now that you know a little more about me, let’s forgo the formalities…forget that picture at the top of the page….THIS is among my favorite pictures of me with my girls taken with a cell phone – yes, photographers take crappy cell-phone pics too and love them just as much as the perfectly posed ones!

My Favorite Quote

“A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. It is, in a word, effective.”
