How It Works

From consultation to product delivery, I promise to provide you with the guidance and portrait service you deserve.

STEP 1 - Get In Touch | Consultation

 

Once you've looked at my website and have decided that I may be a good fit for your portrait needs, feel free to contact me either by filling out the contact form or by emailing me directly at hello@fotoplicity.com. I will get back to you within one business day.

Here at Fotoplicity, every session begins with a consultation.  I take time getting to know you, your family, your personalities, your specific needs, goals, concerns and desires.  Together we will create a session plan, discuss wardrobe, session location and discuss options for where and how you wish to display your finished artwork in your home.

STEP 2 - Book Your Session

 

After our initial chat, if you decide to book, I'll send a link for you to pay the session fee and sign the contract. This will reserve your session date.

STEP 3 - Styling

 

Coordinating your family has never been easier. As soon as you are booked I will send you a link to your personalized styling service where you will complete a questionnaire about the session participants and your style preferences. You will then be provided a detailed shopping guide for the entire family. You can shop right from the website (it links to popular retailers in all budget ranges) or find something similar in your closet! Fotoplicity clients absolutely LOVE this service!

STEP 4 - The Session

 

Your photo session will be designed around the consultation.  No surprises, just lots of fun…relax and enjoy!

STEP 5 - Image & Artwork Selection

 

Your images will be ready for viewing approximately two weeks after your session. The image selection and ordering process varies with the type of session you purchase.

For Signature Sessions I'll have you back to the studio for a Reveal, Design & Ordering Appointment to view your images. Only the best images from your session will be lovingly hand-edited and presented.  This allows you to put your focus where it should be...enjoying your photos and selecting which ones you want to display in your home. I have samples of all the products I offer so you can see, feel and touch everything prior to purchase. Signature Sessions also include complimentary wall design which allows you to see what your artwork will look like on your wall BEFORE you purchase it allowing for complete ordering confidence!

For Digital Sessions you are required to pre-purchase a set of FIVE digital negatives before the proofing gallery is released. You will then receive a link to your unedited proofing gallery and select your paid images. Once you select your favorites (and purchase any additional, if desired), I will edit them to perfection and send them to you electronically.

You will have the option to purchase select prints and products as well, but if interested in albums or wall art I highly recommend the Signature Session which provides more flexibility and guidance.

STEP 6 - Collection

 

Your finished wall art, prints and albums will be ready to be collected from the studio approximately 2-6 weeks after your Image Selection Appointment. Digital negatives are released within 48 hours of receipt/clearance of payment.
